Six Apart's excellent guide to combatting Movable Type comment spam

Though it emphasizes Six Apart solutions like TypeKey and MT-Blacklist, it acknowledges limitations (e.g. that a spammer could sign up for a TypeKey account) and links to other plugins as well.
