Clay Shirky's notes on Trepia

My IM 'buddies' are already ranked by proximity: for some reason, all the people (except for my cousin on my MSN and ICQ lists are close to me (within a car drive or ferry ride). Everybody on my Yahoo! and AIM lists are people in fairly far-off places. It wasn't intentional, though, it just happened that way.
